Right hepatic duct
Ductus hepaticus dexter · Pravý jaterní vývod
Digestive system
Looks like
The right or left hepatic duct, each collecting bile from one half of the liver and joining the other at the liver's doorway.
What it does
Drains bile from its half of the liver into the common hepatic duct.
Keeping it well
Stones, strictures or tumours here cause jaundice; the right duct is short and often joins in variant ways.
