Anterior inferior tributary of right hepatic biliary tree
Ductus anterior inferior dexter · Přední dolní přítok pravých jaterních žlučových cest
Digestive system
Looks like
The bile duct draining segment V, the lower front part of the right liver next to the gallbladder.
What it does
Collects bile from segment V into the right anterior duct.
Keeping it well
Close to the gallbladder bed, it can be injured in gallbladder surgery; bile leakage afterwards causes pain and fever.
