A short, twisted duct a few centimetres long joining the gallbladder neck to the bile duct.
What it does
Carries bile into and out of the gallbladder.
Keeping it well
A stone stuck here causes biliary colic or inflammation of the gallbladder; it is clipped and cut when the gallbladder is removed.
