A cone-shaped band from the base of the coracoid process up to a bump on the underside of the collarbone.
What it does
Part of the coracoclavicular ligament; stops the shoulder blade dropping away from the collarbone.
Keeping it well
Torn with the trapezoid ligament in severe AC separations; surgeons reconstruct it.
