Transverse humeral ligament
Ligamentum transversum humeri · Příčný pažní vaz
Joints & cartilage
Looks like
A short band bridging the groove between the two bony bumps at the top of the arm bone.
What it does
Roofs the groove and helps keep the long biceps tendon inside it.
Keeping it well
Its real holding role is debated; the biceps sling above does most of it. A snapping tendon here needs assessment.
