A thin white band along the top inner edge of the thalamus, running to the habenula.
What it does
Carries fibres from the septal area and hypothalamus to the habenula, part of reward and stress circuits.
Keeping it well
Not examined clinically; it matters mainly as a landmark in the roof of the third ventricle.
