Anterior interventricular vein
Vena interventricularis anterior · Přední mezikomorová žíla
Veins
Looks like
A vein in the front groove between the two ventricles, running beside the main front coronary artery.
What it does
Drains the front of both ventricles and the septum; it continues as the great cardiac vein.
Keeping it well
Rarely a problem itself; the artery beside it is the one most often blocked in heart attacks.
