A triangular strip of connective tissue from the sheath of the inner eye muscle to the tear bone behind the inner corner of the eye.
What it does
Limits how far the eye can turn inward, working with the check ligament on the other side.
Keeping it well
Relevant mainly in squint surgery and eye-socket fractures, where it may be trapped or cut.
