What it does
Produce and hold cerebrospinal fluid that cushions the brain.
Keeping it well
Enlarge when fluid drainage fails (hydrocephalus); in older adults, walking trouble, bladder leaks and memory decline together can be treatable normal-pressure hydrocephalus.
