Wall of inflow part of left ventricle
Paries partis afferentis ventriculi sinistri · Stěna přítokové části levé komory
Muscles
Looks like
The wall of the left ventricle's inflow tract, just below the mitral valve, where blood enters from the left atrium.
What it does
Fills with oxygen-rich blood and guides it toward the pumping part of the chamber.
Keeping it well
Stiffening here causes breathlessness on exercise (diastolic heart failure); blood pressure control helps.
