Left coronary artery

Looks like

The two arteries (left and right) leaving the root of the aorta and circling the heart in its grooves like a crown.

What it does

Supply the heart muscle itself with oxygen-rich blood.

Keeping it well

Fatty plaque narrows them (coronary heart disease). Chest pressure on effort needs a check; lasting chest pain with sweating: call an ambulance.
