Anatom3DSeptal branch of anterior interventricular artery
Rami interventriculares septales arteriae interventricularis anterioris · Septální větve přední mezikomorové tepny
Heart & arteries
Looks like
Straight branches that dive from the left anterior descending artery down into the wall between the ventricles.
What it does
Supply the front two-thirds of the septum, including parts of the heart's wiring.
Keeping it well
In thick-walled heart disease one is deliberately blocked with alcohol to thin a septum that obstructs outflow.
