Right upper lobe
Lobus superior pulmonis dextri · Pravý horní lalok
Respiratory system
Looks like
The top part of the right lung, above the horizontal fissure and in front of the oblique one.
What it does
Takes air to the upper part of the chest; its apex reaches above the collarbone.
Keeping it well
Tuberculosis and apical cancers favour this lobe; a lasting cough with weight loss needs a chest X-ray.
